The year 2006 was a turning point for the palace and park in Turzno near Toruń. It was when Rafał Predenkiewicz, president and owner of Arpol Motor Company in Toruń, became the owner of this impressive monument. Henceforth, the period of its revival and restoration began.
As a result of restoration works, the palace, which previously was a site of a school, has been renovated along with the adjacent belvedere. Interestingly, restoration meant juxtaposing the architectural splendour from the past with the idea of creating a modern hotel and conference centre in Turzno. The present style of the palace lets each visitor experience the unique combination of tradition and modernity at every step.
The palace guests can stay in vintage looking suites, enjoy the hall with a fireplace, and viewing decks. Altogether, the restored palace can accommodate 120 hotel guests.Owing to the fact that the palace has been extended, there have appeared brand-new areas such as conference halls along with the grand restaurant which tempts its guests with flavours from all over the world.
Pałac Romantyczny Hotel is a perfect spot for a wedding reception or any other special event. A wide range of multifarious social events organised there is one of the assets of the palace in Turzno near Toruń.
The restoration works have also encompassed almost 40 acres of the surrounding park. Hitherto uncared-for lanes have become impressive and new ones have been created. Additionally, two charming ponds which are located in the park have been revived.
We would also like to draw your attention to a nearby amphitheatre and also to the castle hidden among the greenery which houses a romantic cafe. There is also a tennis court in the park and we plan to build a miniature golf course, too.
In 2010 Rafał Predenkiewicz with his wife decided to honour the most noble guest of the palace, Frederic Chopin, and founded his memorial bust, which is now placed in the square in front of the main entrance to the hotel.
Pałac Romantyczny in Turzno has already become a tourist jewel in the nearby area and the whole Kujawy-Pomerania Province. We hope our dear guests will consider it a place worth seeing and returning to!
